The dialogue assign wires lets you enter how the camera and its expansion hardware is connected.
Door station cameras use this information to handle display and control of standard inputs and outputs transparently. Even if you are not using your camera as a door station, the connections you specify here can be used via ISDN and VoIP calls to or from the camera, MxEasy, or the iPad-App.
The state of the following inputs can be visualised, if they are entered correctly:
|Door Position Contact||If you use a Door Position Contact, the applications can display whether the door is open or closed.|
|Bolt Position Contact||If you use a Bolt Position Contact, the applications can display whether the door is locked.|
The following outputs can be switched, if they are entered correctly:
|Door Release Actuator||This output can be activated to admit guests via the door station. You can provide a switch time in case the distance from the door station to the door is greater than usual.
Note: Please note that many Door Release Actuators are not constructed for permanent use, and may burn out if they are activated for too long. The MOBOTIX Security Door Opener restricts the switch time to ten seconds for this reason.
In audio phonhe calls to the camera, this function is accessible via signal out action A on key 1.
|Lights||The light switch connected to this output can illuminate the cameras environment or the entrance area of the building. This output can be switch permanently, or triggered for the specified duration.
In audio phonhe calls to the camera, this function is accessible via signal out action C on key 3.
|Internal Lights||Only available on Door Stations! THis output should be connected to the MOBOTIX Info Module. It is used to enable the camera to control the module's backlight in accordance with its own.|
Only available on Door Stations!
Make a selection of inputs or camera buttons to be used as bells. These bells can be assigned to receivers during the set-up. It is advisable to enter names based on the position of the bell, e.g. for a triple bell module "Bell_Top", "Bell_Middle", Bell_Bottom". This facilitates later identification of the bells after several changes of configuration.
All inputs and outputs can be negated, This function is needed, when the attached devices do not behave as expected, and are therefore incorrectly displayed or controlled by the camera.
Usually it should be unneccessary to change this.
Click on the Set button to activate your settings and to save them until the next reboot of the camera.
Click on the Factory button to load the factory defaults for this dialog (this button may not be present in all dialogs).
Click on the Restore button to undo your most recent changes that have not been stored in the camera permanently.
Click on the Close button to close the dialog. While closing the dialog, the system checks the entire configuration for changes. If changes are detected, you will be asked if you would like to store the entire configuration permanently.
